How SeekrFlow Agents work

Each Seekr agent follows a structured, three-part reasoning loop designed to bring clarity, control, and adaptability to every interaction:

1. Plan generation

The agent starts by interpreting the user’s goal and generating a detailed step-by-step plan to achieve it. This includes identifying intermediate steps, selecting which tools to use (e.g. file search), and defining the expected outcomes for each stage. This planning-first approach separates reasoning from execution, ensuring actions are intentional and well-scoped from the beginning.

2. Plan evaluation

Before any action is taken, the agent reviews and critiques its own plan. It evaluates whether the proposed steps are logically sound and goal-aligned, making refinements if needed. This reflection step prevents wasted computation and ensures the agent only proceeds when it has a viable path to success. You can also introduce a human-in-the-loop at this stage for added oversight, particularly in high-stakes workflows.

3. Execution

Once the plan is finalized, the agent begins executing it step by step. It orchestrates the selected tools, invokes either a base model or a fine-tuned model that has been customized to your business or industry, and tracks progress toward the goal. Execution is not static; the agent can adjust its approach in real time based on tool output or user feedback.

Plan generation creates the roadmap, while plan evaluation acts as the quality checkpoint, with human review integration possible at decision points where the agent needs additional context or domain expertise to proceed effectively. Note: This flow describes most error correction cases (e.g., small errors in the agent’s plan, such as missing a step or suboptimal sequencing). In cases where the plan is totally wrong (e.g., misunderstanding the task), it would need to start over with a new plan. This ratio would improve as the agent gets better at plan generation.
