Today, we’re pleased to announce the addition of two industry leaders to our Advisory Board: sustainable finance expert Allison Binns, PhD., General Partner at Danu Venture Group, and Navy Vice Admiral (Ret.) Mat Winter, General Partner at Danu Venture Group and former 24th Chief of Naval Research and Director of Innovation. They join advisory board member Dr. Lisa Costa in guiding Seekr’s strategic vision.

Dr. Binns has deep expertise in energy and finance, global issues, public policy, and sustainability and will help Seekr deliver secure and explainable AI solutions to modernize critical infrastructure across energy, transportation, telecom, healthcare, and banking.

Vice Admiral Winter (Ret.), who previously directed the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter Enterprise, brings extensive technical and business expertise that will help government and industry customers adopt commercial AI solutions that modernize national security outcomes.

About Allison Binns

Allison Binns is a senior advisor and general partner at Danu Venture Group, which invests in critical infrastructure technologies. She is an advisor to a number of early-stage companies and co-chairs the Sustainability Advisory Board for Persefoni AI, a carbon accounting platform, and serves as an advisor to Notava, an ESG data platform. Previously, Allison was a partner and Global Head of ESG & Sustainable Investing Strategy for Angelo Gordon, a private credit and real estate-focused alternative asset manager. Previously, Allison was a sell-side analyst at Morgan Stanely, where she was Head of Sustainable Investing Research for Fixed Income at Morgan Stanley and led sell-side corporate governance research for both equities and fixed income. Previously, Allison worked for Chevron where she held a number of senior advisory roles in ESG and geopolitical risk. Allison received her AB in sociology and Latin American studies from Princeton University and holds an AM and PhD in Sociology (organizational behavior) from Harvard University.

About Mat Winter

Mat Winter, a retired U.S. Navy Vice Admiral, is President of Winter Strategic Solutions, advising firms in venture capital, private equity, and national security. He serves as General Partner at Danu Venture Group and is an experienced Board Director credited with helping clients achieve their strategic investment, profitability, and growth goals. Mat’s previous 35-year Navy career experiences spanned from operational warfighting to senior acquisition executive, culminating as the 24th Chief of Naval Research, leading the Navy’s Global Science and Technology Enterprise, and F-35 Program Director, overseeing the multi-trillion-dollar global enterprise responsible for modernization, production and global supply chain operations. He holds advanced degrees from the University of Notre Dame, Naval Postgraduate School, and National Defense University and enjoys his lifelong hobby as an avid numismatist.
